Grinning in agreement she opened her mouth, her eyes going wide. "Have you met the elder?" Knowing perfectly well who it was she was stunned, and excited to find out details of this encounter, if it really had happened.

"You must understand," a deep voice came from the tunneled entrance "The only reason I didn’t eat you was because you are a new flight member, am I not correct?" "We haven’t had some in a while, so I'm glad you are here," Boris said dropping what seemed to be a leather saddle onto the ground. "What’s that for?" Katherine asked in curiosity. "I don’t expect my rider to fly on my bare back....gets kind of sharp if you know what I mean." Smiling she sat down on a small boulder. "Who’s your rider?" Snorting slightly he glanced over while lying down. "I don’t have one currently...but when Leah rode me that one time...well it made me realize it would be good to have one...just in case."
Picking up the saddle with a gentle touch he laid the leather flat and brought it some ways away from his maw. Making a small opening he breathed gently making some soft flames come out. The saddle soon turned a coal black, except for a few spots which formed a flame like shape that waved across the sides of the saddle. The saddle itself was rather large…well certainly bigger than a horses saddle, and had a unique shape which made a perfect fit into the small hallow, in between the dragons shoulders.

"You are correct, Dragon. I am thankful of your welcomes, for I must say that the other people who found out were not quite so friendly. I understand you are now my commander." Peig added, lowering his head and extending his hoof in a bowing position.

Glancing at him he smiled slightly. "I thought you 'abandoned' those kinds of things," he said mockingly, and went back to his work. Taking a deep breath he let it out with a soft cloud of ice, and let it stain the flames, making the markings a white hue. Sighing he laid the saddle down and looked back at the others. "All done!" Looking at the saddle curously she grinned. "I knew not that you where a craftsman uncle," she said in amusement. "Aye, but don't let word slip alright?"

"Normally, I do, but you are also, I believe, the predator, I think it's called, of my race, not including the fact that I have never seen another dragon of such magnificence." Turning to the girl, Peig looked in interest back and forth between the dragon and the girl. "Surely you aren't really her uncle? I can hardly see any resemblance" He chuckled, picturing a girl who looked like a dragon.

Laughing slightly she rocked back "Na, but he's the closest that I have to one." Making herself look rather cheerfully at the sudden topic, she grinned to wards Boris. "Don't worry Peig he doesn't eat your kind" Nodding truthfully he added "Aye, before humans arrived this land was shared among few races...of coarse there were few who took no heed to the rule, and those were chased out, many argument were held because of those mistakes" Looking to wards Katherine he beaconed to wards her, "would you please put my saddle on, I'd like to see if it fits" Jumping down from her seat she quickly walked over and picked up the rather large...and heavy saddle. Though it seemed not to bother her she staggered slightly and slowly made her way to the dragon. Picking up the little girl he placed her near his shoulders where she quickly put the saddle on. Jumping down she looked up as he stood up. Two large vines went under and around the dragon, connecting to the saddle to what seemed to be two small holes. Sighing he moved his shoulders a bit and glanced down at them, "I only hope my rider wont be human...or else they wont be able to pick this thing up" Grinning slightly in humor he laid back down, the saddle disappearing and appearing beside him. "The straps should help you uncle" she said with a small nod and went to sit back down on her spot.

"What a unique dragon" Peig mumbled to himself. "Though my frame is of a horse, I have found that my wings make it much more difficult to find the proper saddle, and that regular saddles for horses are a pain and make my wings stiffen. May I borrow this for a moment?" He asked politely, reffering to the dragon saddle. "Though we look nothing alike, I think we require the same type of saddle, because of our wings." He said conversationally

Raising his small horn like eye brow he shook his head slightly. "I am concerned it might be too large, and I am not prepared to share my saddle with anyone else." The saddle in truth, although slightly horse like, was large enough to fit the small space between his shoulders and his back, upon which no large spikes grew, yet small and comfortable enough for a rider to sit in. "I'll have to make you your own." he said more to himself than anyone else. "My flyer's must carry their own symbols in Honor, and have their own protection cast upon it" he gestured to the shape shifter. "you may pick your own caster" he chuckled "though I am not that skilled in magic, so I had Katherine do it for me." His serious futures brightened to his usually humble self and he grinned eyes gleaming. "What an experience his will be! Never before have I made a saddle for a flying horse!" Laughing at his child like tone the girl looked at Peig, awaiting his answer. "You may join my court as a high officer, and I must say...though keep this quiet and speak not of it to others, but we do not completely belong to the light riders. Treat them with respect , but allow yourself to ponder of what they might ask you and reject if it's necessary." Stretching out his wings slightly he looked back down at Peig, "now what kind of materials would you like your saddle to be made off?"

Thinking to himself, Peig pictured in his mind the saddle he would like. "It needs to be firm, to bear the pressure of my wings, and soft as well, so as not to lock my wings in one position. I think soaked and dried leather, which is bendable, to suite my wing movement, and tough enough not to be worn out by the same movement. But the designs" There was a flicker of a smile "I'd like to do myself, if that's alright. As for the caster, I'd prefer you do it, commander" He said, lowering his head in respect. "I ask this to get used to calling you that, and to gain confidence in you along with trust, for respect was mastered as soon as I saw you."

Although not seen very well, Boris was blushing slightly in his dragonly way, making some of his cheek scales rise. "The design is, with no question, your task...as for the casting...I'm sure I'll figure out something if you wish for me to cast." Smiling broadly he quickly, and as gracefully as he could manage, trotted to wards the tunnel which led to the entrance of the cave. Stopping in front of the raging waterfall, which blocked the entrance, he carefully looked up and reached up to grab a rather white piece of leather, and quickly made his way back. "Hes not very strict about things really...although he can get nasty at times...epecially about getting into trouble..." she mumbled the last part mostly to herself but quickly continued. "You never want to miss flight meetings, very important instructions are given. Lunar learned all of them in no time!" she pointed to the owl who was currently sleeping in a small hollow in the wall. "Hes a very talented flier, mind you. Uncle said he can help with flight positions and tragedies." "If he ever stops sleeping!" the dragon chuckled while quickly walking into the room. Walking up to Peig he, without warning, placed the piece of leather onto his back and started to measure with his claws. Tearing a small line he picked the leather off the Pegasus and tore of the strip which was unnecessary. Placing it back onto Peigs' back he shaped it for comfort and using simple magic stiffened it so it would contain its shape. Picking it back up he observed the piece of white leather, which was starting to look more like a saddle and quickly blew some soft flame on it, warming the leather just slightly so it would soften slightly. Cutting the strip of leather he was taken off the originally piece of leather, he separated it into two equal pieces, and attached them onto both sides of the saddle, creating the beginning of the stirrups. Placing down the saddle he quickly dashed over to a small patch of what seemed to be peculiar looking rocks, ranging from blue to black, and picked out two medium sized stones. Padding back to where he had left the saddle he crushed one of the stones and crouched down so that his maw touched the ground. Blowing quickly yet softly he watched the stone slowly merge, and stopped for a few seconds before picking up the hot goo like substance. Though hot to an average human it seemed nothing more than hot sand to him, and slowly he formed a slightly squared oval. Placing it onto one stirrup he finished its form and blew a small stream of ice, which made the stone solid, its color matching that of the saddle. Doing he same to the other side he yawned when finally finishing it and placed it by Peig. "Worry not about the stone, for its as hard as diamond, yet light as a feather." Laying back down a small way from Peig he glanced at Katherine. "We'll stay here a few more days or so until things quiet more down.." Jumping down in sudden alarm her eyes widened "What happened to Erimav, and...and the others!" The memory of the few days back, rushed back in sudden speed, and she slowly sat back down, eyes round like the moon.

Shifting back and forth as the leather was fitted, Peig waited and watched in curiosity the dragon at work. "What's the stone for?" (really, what is it for?) He asked, not being able to think of anywhere it would go on a saddle. Hearing the girls question, he turned reassuringly to her. "The vampire recieved a dagger in his gut, but he didn't die. No, it will take much more than that to kill him. Your friends are now, regretably, in one of the light rider jails." Taking the finished saddle in his mouth, he laid it down in front of him. Expanding his wings, he gently stroked the saddle with them, leaving silvery streaks, clearly defined on the white backround. Then turning around, he brushed it thoroughly with his blue tale, leaving fine spots of blue in the silver streaks, looking like blue sand sprinkled on white flames. Pacing around it to admire his work, he turned to the girl. "Would you mind placing the saddle on my back? I'd like to see if the silver, blue, and white complement my fur and mane." Smiling at her, he added "Blue and White are my favorite colors, and I put them in anything I do. Including war" He said, his eyes laughing.

"Their sturips...for the rider" she laughed gently, and watched as Katherine lifted the saddle up onto Peiges back. Hearing what he had to say about the vampire Boris frowned slightly and looked to wards the entrance. "They have strong people them black riders..." Pausing for a moment he lowered his voice to a surprising volume, that seemed impossible for his deep voice. "Our leader is not to be found. Some say he has left...though no one was really close to Shadow to know such information..." Shacking his head once more he made his scales rustle a small song but quickly stopped. Stopping herself from saying anything rude she quickly changed the subject. "Good thing you picked this leather uncle, its white just like his coat."Grinning he raised his head "I was sure it would be a good match."

(sorry here too, been kind of lazy =P) Sobering quickly, Peig wondered outlouad likewise to the dragon. "I do not think I was followed, but then, I'm not the only one who could track an enourmous red dragon in the mountains" He said smirking.

"Well not many flying creatures enjoy going through a waterfall, and not many would follow, a giant red dragon" he growled in irritation. "Let's go you three..." he said making his way to wards the entrance. Nodding Katherine quickly followed behind, with Lunar on her shoulder. Waving with one hand, for Peig to follow she quickly ran up to walk beside the dragons front claw and slowly looked up. "Where will we go uncle?" she asked in curiosity. "I'll show you.." he said in a calm voice.

Laughing slightly at the flying horses action she roughly scratched his neck, knowing it would feel good to a creature as he. Boris simply glanced back and smirked slightly before stopping at the entrance. "Carefully now.." he said opening his wings slightly. Diving down and though the waterfall the mighty dragon opened up his wings and flew up the cliff, close to where he called his home. Changing into dragon herself Katherine also took off after him, Lunar, although rather small, seemed to have managed and fly through, his wings slightly wet from the water.
